Women Who Are Watching Their Weight and Using Healthy Fat Loss Plans

It’s a well known fact that when it comes to fat loss women and men simply do not always work the same way. Remove a man's sugary soda and put him on a treadmill for an hour a day and he may be quick to drop pounds. Sometimes women at certain times may just want what they want, when they want for hormonal reasons. Because of differences in hormones and they way they store and process fat, women’s bodies tend to hold on to that extra weight for longer than men. Of course, this is not always true, and there are also men out there who can't seem to lose weight, but generally, it seems to be rule of thumb.

The question then becomes what to do about losing that weight. Women are great at adding a sense of humor into the situation along with patience. The important thing here is not to try and compete with men, whose bodies just tend to burn through fat faster. If you are a woman trying to lose fay through diet and exercise, try to find another female workout partner. This may seem sexist, but don’t team up with a guy, it can just be depressing.

Of course, for exercise intensity leading to fat loss women have nothing stopping them from working out just as hard as the men in the gym. Contrary to popular stereotypes of women as the ‘weaker’ sex, it is a medical fact that the female body is capable of building only one percent less muscle than the male body, and doctors and physical trainers around the world agree that unless you are thinking about going head to head in a world level weight lifting championship, that single percentage point really does not matter much. Girls, you can get just as buff as any guy.

For the most successful fat loss women are best off building enough muscle that their metabolisms kick into a higher gear. In building more lean muscle mass, your metabolism is essentially kick started, therefore you burn fat more quickly. Ideally, with the right diet and exercise, you are building muscle which helps burn excess fat. Women have just as much ability to lose that weight as men, it just tends to take a little longer.

Not every person can spend all their time in the gym, so one idea is to find places in your day where you can add in physical activity. Correct, I am giving you advice to make more work for yourself. Whether that means taking the stairs instead of the elevator or biking to work if you can, or just taking a walk during lunch, even the most sedentary office bound girl can ditch a few calories here and there almost without thinking about it. When it comes to fat loss women have lots of options.
