<p>The truth of matter is that 2 pounds per week is not the maximum amount of fat you can safely lose in week. It is only a recommendation from the fitness gurus. The actual fat you can lose depends on many different factors. For instance weight loss is relative to how tall you are and how fast your metabolism is.</p>
<p>Weight loss is an extremely meaningless term unless you talk about it in context of body composition period for instance the fat to muscle ratio, or the water to weight ratio.</p>
<p>So how do you lose more than 2 pounds per week?</p>
<p>It is possible to lose for you more than 2 pounds per week of pure body fat. However, it is easier at the beginning and harder as you progress through your diet.My rule is that amazing outcomes are only possible with amazing effort. This means that you have to stick to your diet and be true to your workout schedule.  Now if you want to lose more than 2 pounds per week you simply need a bigger calorie deficit. For instance, if 2,500 calories is your daily maintenance level and you want to drop 3 pounds of body fat per week with just a diet then you’ll need a daily deficit of 1500 calories. This means that you should be eating 1000 calories per day. Now you would lose a massive amount of weight if you could maintain this deficit. However, most people will not be able to last long on this little amount of food. The other option is to train for long periods of time every single day of the week.</p>
<p>So how does one fix this? Train harder or eat less.</p>
<p>My approach to this problem is a long-term weight control. This means patiently following a nutrition plan that is well-balanced between lean protein, natural carbs and healthy fats. <p>The calorie shifting methos of fat loss has gained a great deal of popularity in the last few years. It is founded on the principle that your metabloism can be &#8220;tricked&#8221; by dining from different food groups in a particular pattern. One meal may provide protein and fat only, the next may be almost exclusively carbohydrates.</p>
<p>This is certainly healthier than any diet which excludes a food group entirely, like the Atkins Diet. Though you may exclude carbohydrates in one meal and fat in the next, you still get a good overall balance.</p>

<li>In some occupations, it may be hard to fit into the workday.</li>
<li>It may be very difficult to reconcile your diet plan meals to social events. However, if you schedule your dieting period so that your cheat days fall on a weekend, you should be able to work that out.</li>

<p>One last point that I would like to make is that, though you can lose weight quickly without exercise on this program, I don&#8217;t recommend that course. Not only is exercise necessary for a healthy heart, it is also vital for good muscle tone. Without that you aren&#8217;t going to look fantastic in your bathing suit, no matter how much weight you lose!</p>
