And the unpleasant thing is they stay for a bigger period of time compared to other  fats in your body.</p>
<p> This layer of fat coiled around your midsection is there for a number of reasons. Being a couch potato is the primary explanation. Many of us are familiar with have things done for us by new updates in global technology that we simply obtain with our hands with minimal effort to get what we want. The time allocation we use usually tends to us sitting doing menial and unproductive things like watching T.V or  chilling with music. Even most jobs nowadays devote time to simple chores that don&#8217;t need much muscle power. Sitting around and doing nothing only gives your love handles all the more cause to grow.</p>
<p> Another explanation is the mass of what we eat. The advent of fast foods and processed merchandises has made eating and, sadly enough, gaining fat, more convenient for us. Most edible products nowadays contain a lot of calories that not only produces love handles but also is detrimental to one’s well-being. There are less ‘fresh’ and more ‘frozen’ meat and veggies out there that it’s hard to stay to your toes when the right food intake is concerned and so most of us  fall back to whatever is available. They ingest today and agonize and get bothered soon after.  </p>
<p> One way to take care of them, after knowing such reasons, is to of course take up a regular exercise. More and more people are being drawn in by the cardiovascular exercise scheme which involves training your overall body to stay in shape and get better resistance. This also is a very efficient trimming down activity because targets the supportive parts of your body, which paves the way for more effective exercise once you can handle it. This is also called aerobic exercise, and it includes all physical sports, as well as the simple aerobics movements, and also martial arts. </p>
<p> Using weights to gain muscle is also very good in giving you a trimmer stomach. You build might and this makes your muscles more reactive to the work out plan. After weights, it is a good idea to do torso twists, use the stationary bike, and other cardio apparatuses to burn more calories.</p>

For women, after we give birth, it seems that our stomach muscles just aren’t as willing to bounce back to the way they used to be. <p> Our bellies can cause us a great deal of grief. So much emphasis is placed on having a trimmed mid-section that if you have an extra little pouch of fat there, you feel very self-conscious about it. Using one of the abdominal exercise machines that are available may work but it’s really dependent on one factor.</p>
<p> That factor is whether or not you are willing to make a life change. Getting in shape isn’t about doing an occasional abdominal exercise on some ab equipment. It’s about changing your diet, your physical activity level on a regular basis and making some important lifestyle changes. If you use an abdominal machine but continue to drink sugar laden soda and eat potato chips, your belly isn’t going anywhere.</p>
<p> There&#8217;s many choices when it comes to increasing your fitness level. If you have not exercised your stomach muscles much in the last decade, you probably don’t want to start using one of those abdominal exercise machines at your local gym. The reason is that your body isn’t going to react well and you can seriously hurt yourself. Walking is a great way to warm up before attempting any abdominal exercise.</p>
<p> Some people who are overweight are embarrassed to go to the gym to work-out. They feel self-conscious about putting on work-out gear and sweating in front of strangers. The thing to remember is that everyone is there for the same reason and that’s to get in better shape. Most people at the gym are so focused on what they are doing, that they don’t give you a second thought or look.</p>
<p> When I was recently looking for some fitness equipment I went to my local gym to get a look at the different types of equipment to see if it was something I’d enjoy. They had <a target="_blank" href="http://www.treadmillfactory.com/">treadmills</a>, <a target="_blank" href="http://www.elliptical-machines.com/">ellipticals</a> and several different abdominal exercise machines. I experimented with several and soon realized that if nothing else they were really effective. I could feel my abs burning after just a few minutes on the machine.</p>
<p> I checked out prices on the Internet and then finally decided on a model that fit both my fitness level and my budget. I’ve been using it for a few months and can see some results. I even feel better when I look in the mirror. Although some people might tell you that abdominal exercise machines are doing the same job as sit-ups, I’d say my newly trimmed and toned tummy is proof that’s not true.</p>

<p> There are some easy <a target="_blank" title="Abs Training" href="http://www.megafitness.com/category/12066924081/1/Ab-Equipment.htm">abdominal exercises</a> that you can do even at home.  Here are some exercises that can easily be done:  </p>
<p> • <strong>Crunches</strong></p>
<p> Almost everyone can do this.This <a target="_blank" title="Exercise" href="http://www.megafitness.com/">exercise</a> focuses on the upper abs.  It’s one of the basic but effective exercises. To perform crunches, you need to lie on a flat surface with your hands in your chest or behind you head.  Contract your abs, then hold for 2 seconds, then return to your lying position.  Proper crunches are in a continuous and controlled fashion.  Concentrate on your abdominal muscles to pull your upper body up.  Avoid using the neck or shoulders to push yourself up.  This incorrect practice will cause stress and strains.  </p>
<p> • <strong>Side Crunches</strong></p>
<p> They are basically the same as regular <a target="_blank" title="Ab Crunches" href="http://www.megafitness.com/category/12066924081/1/Ab-Equipment.htm">crunches</a>, except that the main focus is on the oblique muscles which are also called love handles.  It also uses the same technique, only that you are crunching to either side of our abs.This would burn your oblique muscles.  </p>
<p> • <strong>Lying Leg Lifts</strong></p>
<p> This exercise focuses on the lower abs.  with this kind of exercise, you are on the same position as with the crunches,  you lie flat on your back and lift your legs six to twelve inches of the ground.  This would exercise the muscles in the lower part of the abdomen.  When performing leg lifts, place your hand under your buttock.  It adds leverage and helps you get your feet elevated.  </p>
<p> If you want to ad even more weight, ankle weights are a good option.These weights can either be purchased online( Look for free shipping) or at a local store.  If you do not want to buy weights, you can simply fill up old tube socks with enough clean, unused cat litter to make one or two pound weight.  </p>
<p> • <strong>V- Crunches</strong></p>
<p> It’s almost like lying leg lifts except your chest is at a 45 degree angle starting out.  Sit at the edge of a bench and reach back just enough to support yourself from completely lying on the bench.  Once you’ve stabilized, bring your knees toward your chest.You should be creating a V motion.  The base of the V would be your abs.  </p>
<p> • <strong>Cat stretch</strong></p>
<p> It’s the same with the movements made by a cat when they stretch their back. This basic action is easy and quick.  Get down on the floor with your hands and knees, with muscles relaxed and looking straight ahead.  Next, tighten your abdominal muscles while thrusting you back upward as far as you can.Maintain this position for five counts and then lower your back.  </p>
<p> • <strong>Bicycle Crunch</strong></p>
<p> To do this, start y lying flat on the floor. Put your hand beside your head then raise knees up to 45 degrees angle and them perform a pedaling motion like what you do when you ride the bicycle.  </p>
<p> • <strong>Standing Side Bends</strong></p>
<p> Standing side bends encourages the loss of fats in the oblique muscles.  To start, stand up straight with the stomach sucked in, legs straight and hands on the sides.  Simply lean the body from left to right being careful not to rotate the hips and while keeping  body facing front.  There is a variety of side bends, this is the torso twists.  Instead of bending side to side twist or rotate the upper body from left to right while keeping the legs straight.</p>
<p> You can remove your flabby stomach and replace it with six pack abs, as long as you have disciplined and of course the will to do so.  </p>
