4.The lower and upper abs muscles are independent. Again, this doesn’t tell the truth. It is a single muscle layer. They are not separate. Whatever abs exercises you are executing, they target all abdominal spots. Although there are workouts that target more attention to the lower or upper abs, but still they aren’t separate. For upper abs, you can do crunch that takes the chest toward your pelvic. Reverse crunches helps to focus on the lower.
