1. Stop Splitting Workouts
There are now many athletic studies which prove that split workouts are much less effective than full body workouts. If you do not know what split workouts are, they are when you work your upper body one day and the lower body the next.
If you are looking for maximum muscle growth (ultimately in the shortest time possible) then you are going to have to go with full body workouts.
This is because they increase the levels of testosterone in your body at a much higher level when compared to split body workouts.
2. Max Tear
The entire reason we lift weights is to begin the rebuilding process of our muscles. When it comes down to it, that is the only thing you should be focusing on…maximum muscle tear.
In order to get the most muscle fiber tear with each set I recommend that you lift very slowing. I am talking about a 3-4 second cadence so that there is not momentum in your movements. This will ensure that the load is entirely on your muscles.
You are going to find that you will be doing much less repetitions and your muscles will be a lot sorer the next day. This is a good thing!
Maximum muscle tear is essential in all of your muscle mass workouts. You should have a burning passion to achieve your ideal body type. If you do not have that passion, I would suggest you cultivate it.
How will you feel when you have that exact body of your desire? Visualize it. Take the time to feel that passion and emotion in your gut. Let it grow stronger and stronger. Feels good, doesn’t it? That level of passion is what turns dreams into a reality. You must take care of yourself first before you can offer significant value to anything else in your life.
