How can I grow bigger muscles?

How can I grow bigger muscles?

I'm 15, going on 16 and I was wondering how could I grow bigger muscles, sich as,

Biceps, triceps, pecs, abs and how can i get a nicer back.

I know it's alot to ask but I have a huge “will power” to do this….

So is there any routines that you can tell me and explain? Like I have no idea what bench presses are and the curl stuff either!

Thank You

  1. exercise, streetch
this is important at our age,
im 15 2 and my dad has made me,and work with me on my muscles
  2. If you've never done bench press or curls, find an older adult that is willing to go to the gym with you and get you started. That's what I did, my cousin about 5 years older than me, brought me to the Y when I was 13 and started giving me basic exercises on the machines. I stayed really dedicated, and by age 14 or 15 he moved me up to free weights. Now I'm really happy with my bench press max and squat max and everything. Plus increasing your arms and chest size, gives you increased self-esteem and confidence.
  3. Best of luck to you. Consistent workout is needed and so is giving your body enough down time to regenerate from the workouts. It is also important to exercise your heart muscle with cardio. or low impact aerobics.

The site listed below is a good start. There are many sites out their and also on cable. In my area channel 222 is the fitness channel. I especially like Gilad workouts which produce great results.

  4. Nothing is better than looking at yourself in the mirror when you start exercising, then looking at yourself after you gained 20 pounds of meat, I've been there.

Here are two great websites I use…

    http://www.building-muscle101.com

This site is great if your just starting out and want to know what all the muscles are called, how to start out exercising, setting up a workout schedule, what and when to eat/drink (one of the MOST important things), how much weight you should start out with, and descriptions with illustrations on different kinds of exercises.

    http://www.shapefit.com/training.html

This is a direct link to a handful of exercises that you can look at. They have a lot of different exercise routines for whatever you want focus building muscle with.

I highly recommend looking at the building-muscle101 first and read through as many articles as you can and learn on how to start lifting. You can't just jump into lifting heavy weights, you have to train your body to take all that strain, otherwise you can injure yourself and it can put you out for weeks. Start out with lighter weights and a lot of reps (building-muscle101 will explain this in detail). Be sure to drink lots of water throughout the day and no more eating high sugar cereal for breakfast, or hot pockets for lunch. Eating is the most important (and for me was the most challenging) part of packing on more muscle.

Hope this helps out some and good luck man!

  5. get your butt in the weight room

worked for me….im ALOT more cut than when i started

you start out by getting cut first…then the growth comes in

  6. 50 pushups a day…50 crunches a day…try to lift as many objects as you can and if you ever try to hang on something..say a wall or pipe or something.try doing pull up…

Other than that…participate in gym class or hit a gym..
